About The Artwork
I love geometric and graphic work that has a mid-century vibe. To create this painting I applied acrylic paint to small wooden blocks in several sizes and colors and then stamped them into the canvas. The amount of paint and pressure I applied determines the degree of density and "decay" of the impression. I like the random pattern and layers I created. White is often a dominate color in my work and I used it to create negative space to feature other colors.
