About The Artwork

As a California artist, I have created many paintings with palm trees as the subject, using my own photographs. These incorporated photographs were taken in the beachside community of Pismo Beach. These images are ideal for an office or room where a feeling of nature's tranquility is desired. Actual plants and palm fronds were incorporated by running them through my press. These full bleed images of mixed media art are in neutral colors.

Symbols that represent common threads and relationships of life are prevalent in my paintings. Combining the ancient art of printmaking with contemporary techniques and materials and is how my work evolves. Spontaneity and a sense of adventure are with me when creating. Color and texture are always at the heart of my art and there are many layers buried beneath the surface of any painting."
