Welcome to my site! I was born in 1971 and raised in the Netherlands. Since my childhood, i am drawn to nature, it has always inspired me to express the peace and rest that i experience in nature. I live near by the sea, for 40 years now. The colors and shapes in the landscape…the sea and salty air, are a great inspiration for my work. Every time when i am painting, the proces is an exciting, mystical and surprising development. I start with an initial idea and then i search intuitively with color and form to express a perception of my inspiration source. My paintings are mostly built up layer by layer, i use palette knifes, paint brushes and my hands. For me painting has become a passion and inner trim! Yvonne
