These flowers are growing in several places along the road on my way home.
I love the contrast of the white against the dark of their foliage. To me they are ethereal because of the thinness and lightness of the petals, evoking the fragility of life and grace. They maybe named Dogwood, but I do not think the name fitting so I name them paper flowers. Ever away of texture in my work they make me think of tissue paper.
This is a soft decorative piece. It is on gallery wrapped canvas, with painted edges and comes ready to hang.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

A long time artist living in a small farm community in coastal California. I am a free spirit artist so my work is varied and hard to categorize. I love strong color and texture. What medium I use and when, is determined by my subject and mood I want to convey. My paintings are most often landscapes, botanical, or birds. When I would cry as a small child, my grandfather had the best advise. He would say "get the pencil". He did, and that is how my tears left and where my story started. Thank you for checking out my collection.
