Patagonia's Landscape Series "The Nap" Painting

Part of my personal life is linked to the Patagonian South of Argentina. I always try to go back, in any of its seasons, to disconnect from society and its massive industrial rhythm. This time, I had the opportunity to visit Lake Gutierrez and part of the Nahuel Huapi, on my way to Villa La Angostura. Part of this series I find myself inspired by impressionist landscapes such as Monet but above all, the minimalist landscapes of Gustav Klimt. In this painting, I wanted to try to represent its magnitude and temperance, but at the same time vivid and intense. The clouds take center stage, their movements dance in the sky, the earth is calm, serene, enjoying the moment. In the distance, the mountains try to be present, mimicking the atmosphere.
