"Pensive", a unique, ethereal figurative nude painting by British artist, Janette Lockett. Painted in a similar style to her equestrian artwork, Art Equus. The artist has applied pastels in various, different shades of grey to white art paper. The first Collection of seven Nude paintings by Janette Lockett, was called "Aspects of Love", and was commissioned by a leading Harley Street Clinic in London.

Janette Lockett was born in Yorkshire, England in 1963. Her passion for horses developed as a young child. Having found the perfect setting for her creative talent in Andalusia, Spain, she began her career as a self-taught equestrian artist and has had much success with her work internationally. Janette paints with a unique style using pastels. Known primarily for her equestrian paintings, Art Equus, Janette also paints ethereal nudes in shades of grey.
