oil on linen. 2 feet square. based on a true story. her inner life often materialized as tattoos on her flesh. she had an irrational fear of cheese especially Roquefort. the lack of a regular salary made her bite her nails and mutter nonsense in front of banks. she smelled nutmeg where there was none. she could've been "one to watch" if she'd just opened eyes and stopped dreaming out loud.
