About The Artwork
Walking down Perry Street in Brookline, Massachusetts I came upon this delightful garden with its brilliant colors of flowers and foliage. I had to try and reproduce it in paint. I used acrylic paint and applied many layers, for depth of color, with a palette knife for the ease of painting layer upon layer. I hope the viewers will appreciate the variety of shapes within the foliage and the wonderful colors I found in my palette. The painting is wired and ready to hang. The edges are painted a soft gray, so it does not really need a frame, but if the new owner so desires I might suggest a natural wood floater frame.
