Characters on white background by Enrique Pichardo is a 70x50 cm painting, created in acrylic on canvas. In this canvas, an abstract figure stands out on a white background, while the colors black, red, yellow and blue give shape to the figure. The black, red, yellow and blue intertwine in the abstract figure, generating contrasts and depths that capture the viewer's attention. These vibrant colors add dynamism and energy to the composition, creating a visually stimulating experience. The abstract figure suggests movement and ambiguous forms, inviting contemplation and interpretation from the viewer. The contours and lines delineated by these colors bring the figure to life, creating a sense of vitality and expression. Despite the abstraction, the figure seems to have a tangible presence and to suggest emotions or moods. The simplicity of the white background acts as a clean canvas that highlights the figure. In "Personajes en fondo blanco", Pichardo succeeds in creating a work that challenges perception and stimulates the viewer's imagination. Colors and shapes combine to create a unique and captivating visual experience, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in a world of shapes and colors.

The Mexican plastic artist, Enrique Pichardo, has more than 30 years of experience as a painter. His technique and style combine artistic influences from other countries with the traditional Mexican influence. In his own words, he defines his art as naive expressionism. The plastic work of Enrique Pichardo has more than one aspect. On the one hand, he creates works that are densely populated with shapes, figures, and colors. On the other hand, he has abstracted urban landscapes with a neutral color palette that recreates everyday situations. However, the special characteristic that maintains the cohesion of all his pieces is the conviction of approaching art through a return to his childhood and his first traces. Paint like a child, paint with more expression than technique, paint with feeling over technique. The painter seeks the skillful strokes of his inner child to carry out each of his pieces.
