ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A bright, crayon lined floral piece featuring a dramatically oversized, slightly abstracted deep green, speckled monstera leaf, striking orange and blue birds of paradise, delicate white imaginary elderflowers, peach proteas, little blue and peach foxglove inspired sprays of tiny blossoms, white spotted reeds in a deep, rich orange and the ever present eucalyptus sprigs, I just love how delightfully disorganized they appear. The background of this piece is a deep magenta pink, with thickly textured dancing brushstrokes echoing the movement of the flowers. Painted using gouache and acrylic on a wood board with a simple cradle, and sold unframed.
