Pink Eye of the Storm Painting

I enjoy exploring colour and painting with acrylic and water colours paints. I did my painting late at night (when sleep evaded me...or just the peace and stillness of the night) especially whilst being a full time teacher as well as bringing up my family. I was widowed early and was a single mum. I met and married my husband in the UK where I now reside and taught here until I retired in 2020. As the children flew the nest, I finally was able to indulge in my love for painting. Born in Kenya before independence, I saw the traditional life give way to modern living and enjoy painting what I saw and can see occassionally letting the colours rule.... e.g. The Colourful Jumbo.
