ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece is a color study for a new wall sculpture piece that I hope to have completed in early August. Inspired by my drum set and new tube of gouache (Bengal Rose). I hope my viewers feel a positive joy at the colorful rendition of this normally dull metal drum accessory. The unadorned style on paper is intended to be simple, clean, minimal, with lots of white paper as a buffer.
