Welcome to my page. My name is Maria Molchanova, I am 41 years old. I am a self-taught artist living in the central part of Russia, in the city of Tver. My art is a constant journey. On the one hand, I simply depict the beauty and perfection of the surrounding world through the eyes of an artist. On the other hand, some of my works reveal details that were not initially visible to the viewer. I am always interested in what is hidden beyond human perception. I have been drawing since early childhood, but the realization of myself as an artist has come quite recently. My creativity helps me to cope with difficulties, energizes me, and gives an impetus to further development. I am absolutely happy when I pick up brushes and paints. My works are dominated by textured pastes, acrylic paints, paintings made of gold and silver. Each new painting is an amazing adventure! In my works, you can find a reflection of the beauty and grandeur of nature, the energy, and the characteristics of people and objects. I see faces, objects, figures of people and animals on different surfaces: water, bark, fog, clouds, and I depict these manifestations of the divine on my canvases.
