This is the only work in the "Roar of the Crowd" series where I have included a recognisable figure. This moment is when Portsmouth Football Club better known as Pompey, won the league and the crowd invaded the pitch. I spent my teens in Portsmouth so I knew the passion for football. Also the team has an unusual strip in a blue shirt with red socks, hence our man with arms raised wearing the kit - absolutely clearly it has to be Pompey! Framed in a natural wood frame and strung so ready to hang. Signed and dated on the front. Also signed, named and dated on the back.
