”I am blessed to learn from my path as an artist, from the beholder and share the beauty of this world through art. I hope the aura of my work will inspire peace and enable channels to assist in protection of human experience on this earth.” My artwork is an extension of daily meditation. Painting near water, breathing the sea air, listening to the waves roll in, viewing all variation of color inherent in nature, I am at peace. The ocean series of abstract paintings bring me to the present, grounded in the flow of artistic work. The colorful paintings exude happiness. I enjoy the ethereal elements my artwork contributes to interior design and decor, working with commercial and residential designers to build on custom designs through commissions of my work. A native Texan, residing in Dallas, I spend most days near water, painting with mixed mediums of encaustic and acrylic, gouache, ad metallic elements on large canvas and acrylic board. Drops of encaustic wax and paint begin the process which extends to the canvas and defines a new perspective of landscape, water, sea life and the ever changing climate. Layers of transparent color and metallic elements combine to relay a calm strength inherent in our oceans.
