ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This is the beginning, the beginning of a new life, a new history ... In the series of paintings: “Going beyond. Lines” I want to show that most people have hiding outside their frame their worlds, visions, imposed by their parents, society, television. It's time to go beyond that! It's time to start looking at the world with your own eyes, on the other hand, and from a different angle. I create paintings completely by hand, starting with a stretcher on which the canvas is stretched, ending with a frame that is stretched with eco-leather. P.S. The name and description were originally written in the artist's native language, Ukrainian. And below is translated into English.

I I adore music; I sing even when I don't know all the words. I sing even when doing my daily workout, turning it into a dance. I love to dance; music seems to grasp my body and shapes it into rhythmic movements that become a dance. And here I am on stage, singing, dancing, trying to focus on my creativity because I want to do what I love. I can't live without love. I need to give my love, tenderness, care, and I need reciprocity not to feel devastated. Luckily, there are pets, so I can give my love to them and receive a daily dose of purring in return. I wear masks not to hide my appearance but to express myself. My mask is my makeup, my creativity, and yes, it's a part of my mystery. Because in life, I'm quite mysterious, and I'm diverse. So, my masks help me express different facets of my character, just like my art. Different styles, different tones, different perspectives, different me. I transmit my mood, thoughts, and questions onto the canvas, choosing colors based on the emotional state I'm in. I don't control the process of creating a painting. Usually, I don't sketch; I don't plan each step. Each stage of creating a painting unfolds in my consciousness during or after the completion of the previous stage. So, first, I choose a color palette, and step by step, I proceed as if in a trance, not fully understanding the end result until I finish the painting. My art is my emotion. Through abstraction and a palette of colors, I express my feelings, both dark and melancholic, as well as light and vibrant. This is how I see my world; it's not filled with realistic or concrete forms but rather in plastic lines or sharp strokes. The opportunity to be myself, embodying in real form, my thoughts, my ideas, my questions, my feelings. My art is the state of my soul. My art is me.
