ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Made for the exhibit United States of Art in gallery Salon West in Amsterdam. It is a painting with a lot of color and the faces of the women are kept abstract. It allow's you to see different thinks every time you look. There is a epoxy layer on the paint. It's highly glossy and the paint structure comes true so you can 'feel' it is painted. The epoxy layer isn't flawless on purpose. It makes the colors extra sparkling. It is painted on aluminium (Dibond) and on the backside is a hanging frame made of aluminum. Therefore the painting hangs around 1 cm from the wall.
