This is another of my fluid style paintings. The painting originated in my mind after one of grandkids was fascinated with a few tadpoles in a disused water filled, plant pot.

It started out with a multi pour with blues of different shades, then a black swipe and then splashes of white that I manipulated to look like tadpole tails.

This painting won the peoples choice award at my solo exhibition at The Wyong Art House in June 2019 where I exhibited 65 art works.

It is a very busy painting, but the intensity of the cells and the variations in the color mix make it a real stand out. Take a close look at some of the features I think you will be surprised.

The painting is 76 cm high and 102 cm wide and is 4 cm deep. It is finished in a high gloss varnish that enhances the color and protects the paint. The canvas is high quality.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette. His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured plaster bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character. As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary abstract. He uses various mediums and acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes. Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques. Patrick has had many exhibitions, either solo or combined with other artists. He has won acclaim and awards for his abstract imagination. His work is displayed in galleries on the Central Coast and in private collections. .
