Born in Armenia in 1983, based in Spain, self-taught artist. Over time, I have developed a new contemporary art technique, which I like to call “Picselazum", which does not only consist of painting on the canvas, but also pushing the paint from behind, making the paint emerge out of the canvas towards the viewer, giving it the shape of pixels, thus uniting the images in an illusion. As the paint emerges from the canvas, it creates a special texture, visible and tangible. This reflects the light in a different way, creating a depth and unique expression. When moving around the work, variations will be observed that is, a three-dimensional impression is achieved. Even on small surfaces, the monotonous color manages to have its own shadow and shine, making the paint and color more intense and expressive. Picselazum allows me to create up to three images on the same surface; the combination of the three images creates a fourth one (a product of our perception). Picselazum is a very different technique from existing ones and, at the same time, interactive. Therefore, the perception of the image depends on the direction of the light and the color (and also its intensity). The viewer's position and mood also influence the perception of the image, as does the use of filters that further intensify it. Each painting created with the Picselazum technique is unique and uncopyable, even for me. Since the canvas and paint are handmade, the slightest variation in the creation process produces different results. Even the humidity in the air can cause the pixels, when they come off the canvas, to move to one side or the other. I like to think that pixels are as individual as we are, and that together they create a complete image, a unity. Therefore, the next work will not be the same... “PICSELAZUM” CONTEMPORARY ART My small contribution to open new roads in art world. Changes around us are constant. We have created the greatest comfort for human beings to date; (in certain parts of the world) everything revolves around us and everything comes toward us.
