Tetiana Surshko (SurshkoArt) Emotion is my medium. The canvas is my confession. My name is Tetiana, and I am a professional artist originally from Kyiv, Ukraine. Today, I live and create in the beautiful and inspiring city of Lisbon, Portugal. My artistic journey began in 2014, and art has since become my true passion and a lifelong path of exploration. Over the years, I have completed over 300 original paintings, with more than 160 of them finding homes with private collectors across Europe, the United States, and Asia. Style & Technique I have honed my skills through numerous courses in painting, drawing, and mixed media. My favorite medium is oil on canvas, and I especially love working with a palette knife. This technique allows me to create expressive textures and emotional depth that define my signature style. My work often moves between abstraction and reality, drawing on themes that speak to my soul—the beauty of the female form, the calm power of nature, the silent poetry of cities, and the timeless elegance of architecture. I find inspiration in everyday moments and the emotional presence of space and light. Teaching & Philosophy Sharing art is as important to me as creating it. For two years, I led in-person workshops in oil painting and acrylic techniques, helping others find their own creative voice.
