"Celebrate the rain; It only means that the sun shall shine bigger and brighter than ever" ABOUT THE ART: Cleansing Rain Series There are times when we might feel the need to wash away all of our troubles and call forth freshness into our lives. This piece is part of Dennis Crayon’s Memory collection blending realism with expressionism. The Memory series is based on photos combined as a play between reality and abstraction. Signed and dated by the year and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. READY TO HANG: Stretched on heavily textured 1.5” deep gallery wrap canvas. Wired and ready to hang. No framing necessary. 36 H x 36 W x 1.5 Inches MATERIALS: Oil painting on canvas. The artist aimed to recreate the smooth glass-like quality of some classical paints while still giving it energy. This piece was created with finely-ground, pure oil paints with an Alkyd based medium. The sides are painted in a Black Iron Oxide and the piece is finished with a clear, protective archival varnish for easy care. ARTIST: Dennis Crayon’s art is coveted by collectors and art investors around the world. His work is featured locally as well as nationally. Dennis earned a diploma in painting from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and is an active member of Washington D.C.’s artistic community.
