ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The creation of the paintings begin with the preparation of linen cloth: first cut the fabric and stitch the edges with the sewing machine, then the canvas is treated with rabbit skin glue and leave to dry without being pulled. The canvases are glued onto wooden frames around 0.40 inches thick. Several of these works are inspired by the landscapes of Norway, and were made between 2014 and ' 15, after a trip made on the fjord, by postal Hurtigruten. The works are all of modest size and represent different themes such as nocturns, visions between land and sea, mountains. This photograph was created by Roberto Centamore.
