Pseudo Memory; Where I Live and Where I See Painting

As a millenial who lives in the era of the internet, as well as the previously manual era, the artist felt the duality of living everyday life--in the physical world as well as in the virtual world. The image we consume everyday from the internet then intersects with our everyday life that then these "simulations" of banality in the internet teaches us how to see or how to live the life. The painting is showing some random image we can find from the internet, with the person and the items on the images be filled with, instead, the artist's presence. Figure and personal items. This then makes the room in the image as this intersection where the artist and her imagined reality become a physical presence in the painting. The painting is made by the artist's expression of hope and stimulated from the media consumption in this internet era.
