About The Artwork
I love to give my cows personalities. They get names, almost like in fables, they develop human traits. In this case, I used an old picture as the basis for "Queen Elli". On the one hand, this was the inspiration for the title and on the other hand wonderful correspondence emerged, e.g. about the collage of a woman whose face is almost in the eye of the cow. And secretly because everyone, what the abbreviation "Elli" stands for, Queen Elli.

Born 1968 in Bergkamen in Germany, meanwhile I live and work as a freelance artist in Bochum (Germany). Studied visual communication at the University of Applied Sciences in Münster, majoring in illustration with Professor Rolf Escher. Since 1995 many national and international exhibitions, international collaborations with galleries and presentations at art fairs in Europe and partly overseas.
