SHIPPING AND RETURNS

This work was inspired from my background as an architect where small sketches arranged to give texture to vas areas. There you find a scaffolding at the lower part of the artwork. Somehow the work linked with vernacular architecture of the area where I grew up.

About the Artist

Salman Alameer

Saudi Arabia

Salman Al-Ameer is a Saudi visual artist with a background in architecture and interior design. He studied Architecture at King Faisal University and later earned an MFA in Interior Design from Syracuse University in New York. After nearly twenty-five years working as an architect and interior designer, he shifted his focus toward painting and drawing.
His practice is informed by architectural thinking, academic drawing, and a sustained interest in form, light, structure, and the human body. His current work explores the body as a constructed and mutable form, where figures, hands, faces, limbs, chairs, and architectural fragments merge within compositions shaped by tension, balance, fragmentation, and transformation.
Al-Ameer has exhibited locally and internationally, including solo exhibitions in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and has participated in several artist residencies. His work continues to investigate the relationship between body, space, memory, and lived experience.
