About The Artwork
Portrait painting from my new series of queen portraits. The painting consists of layering artist's water-soluble crayons, acrylic painting and then areas are rolled over using Benjamin Moore wall paint. The painting is done on stretched 1.5" thick gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are painted and the painting is wired and ready to hang.

I am an internationally collected artist originally from Taunton, Massachusetts. I have a degree in Accounting from Bryant University but have been making art since I was very young. I am mainly inspired by color and shapes found in nature. Although I have moments of creating vibrant and dynamic paintings, I tend to prefer quiet and minimalistic pieces. These feel more intimate and soulful to me. In 2016 I was invited to become an Artist member of the Art in Embassies program administered by the US state department. I had a painting included in an exhibition in Monrovia, Liberia at the residence of Christine Elder, the US Ambassador to Liberia. My work has been used on film, television and commercials.
