"Quo vadis?" Nº 1 is the first painting in this new series by Uwe Fehrmann. The artist is himself a passionate conservationist and as a beekeeper very close to the threatened ecosystem. Without nature conservation, no survival of mankind is possible, of this Uwe Fehrmann is deeply convinced. It starts with the protection of the smallest - the insects and must result in absolute respect for every living being on this earth. Humans can mirror themselves in their closest relatives, the apes - or so it is said. And yet, for all the empathy felt, profit often takes precedence over the protection of nature and life. The edges of the painting are painted, a hanging is attached and possible without a frame. 5% of the net proceeds from the artwork Uwe Fehrmann donates as support to the WWF (World Wildlife Fund). The painting was carefully photographed in order to present it well and vividly. The display of the photos may vary on different monitors. It is recommended to view the photos on different devices such as tablet, smartphone, laptop and desktop PC. If you have any further questions about the artwork, please do not hesitate to ask.

Germany
Uwe Fehrmann is a German artist who uses his art to explore society, people and their environment. The tensions between the physical and digital dimensions of modern life are of particular interest to Fehrmann. He breaks down their connections, which can lead to both harmony and conflict. Working in a variety of media, Fehrmann uses fragmented and layered color modules to challenge standardized thinking and challenge the viewer to unravel the image information by drawing on their personal experiences.
