ABOUT THE ARTWORK

A botanical abstract studio inspired by the Ficus branches. The Ficus macrophylla, also known as Ficus magnolioide or Fig of the Bay of Moreton, a large evergreen tree of the family of the Moraceae. The characteristic "poignant" aspect of F.macrophylla is due to the development of its branches of columnar aerial roots which, reaching the ground, turn into additional trunks; pillars that support the great weight acquired from the top of the tree. This tree with its 10,000 cubic metres of foliar crown is a monumantal tree. Love inspired by botanical themes, in particular the trees!

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

My preference for nature and the outdoors, drive me to natural colors and sunlight themes. Although not directly, my painting deals with environmental issues and the dangers of climate change, seeking a constant dialogue with nature, especially plant forms, on which will probably depend much of our future survival as human beings. Actually working also in product-adv, brand art, and greeting card designs as I'm very interested in growing my activity in the Art Licensing field. As a free-lance Illustrator I have been working for about 12 years for book publishers (children's books, textbooks), and design studios, in Italy and worldwide. I love mixing traditional techniques of illustration, and digital composition. Inspired by nature, its shapes, and colors. As a painter/artist I started painting large abstract canvases as little sizes on paper, about two years ago (2018), predominantly with acrylics. I like working more freely and painting as an artist makes me feel the work more mine!
