Wabyanko is a contemporary visual artist born in Brittany, France, and based in Nantes. He works across acrylic painting, stop motion animation and AI, creating hybrid works that explore collective memory, social fragility and the things societies choose to forget. His signature style merges abstract figurative painting, street art and digital media. Bold colour contrasts, expressive lines and symbolic imagery create a visual tension between chaos and harmony — inviting collectors and viewers to look again, and longer. In 2020, his work on the Covid crisis was selected to illustrate a Fortune Global Conference. His paintings are held in private collections across the United States, Europe, and Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore). His market value is officially rated by AKOUN, the French art market reference for collectors. Wabyanko exhibits regularly at international art fairs in Paris and Brussels. He is represented by The Art Cycle Gallery, Paris, and featured on OuestArtShop, Brittany. His work has been selected for group exhibitions including "Penser le Processuel" (Centre Culturel P.J. Vallès, Paris, 2024). In 2026, he completes three hybrid short films — Unchained Ship (Nantes), Silent Red Threads, and Crimson Ephemeral Sand — extending his painted universe into moving image. Unchained Ship, on the memory of the past history of Nantes, is accompanied by a free educational guide distributed to French schools. Wabyanko's work is an ongoing search for a visual language that holds what words struggle to carry. Long before AI became a cultural conversation, Wabyanko was building conversational bots on Palm devices - awarded Best Learning Bot in 2006. That early instinct for emerging technology now shapes his hybrid practice, bridging hand-painted acrylic with AI-generated imagery.
