I am a Dublin born painter who creates semi-abstract and abstract landscapes and seascapes. My art is inspired by the local environment and my emotional response to it. I approach my work with a playful mindset, allowing my mind to escape into a place where I feel alive and fulfilled. During my creative process, there are no mistakes or restrictions, only joy and wonder. If I am happy with the finished piece, that is enough for me. My artistic process is intuitive, and I use layering techniques, textures, mark-making, and a variety of mediums like oil paint, pastels, texture gels, and acrylics. My goal is to revitalize scenic views with vibrant and colorful hues, enhancing the beauty of the atmosphere. I am always excited to experiment with multiple artistic tools and explore different ways of expressing a semi-abstract interpretation of the beauty of nature.
