ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This picture, from the collection "Mikaos" and the serie "Stairway to..." si painted on an 80x120cm canvas, on mixed technique. The idea is to create an illusion from a pure geometrical construction. We have here an orthonormed spiral rigourously based on the golden proportion, wether on centering or voumes progression. We get the illusion of a stairway or a temple entrance. To each his imagination. One of the inspirations was the picture from Jeronimus Bosch, "Ascension vers l'Empyrée". The post part of the picture have been made with masonry tools. This very particular painting was made with acrylic, metallic, sandy and lacquer colors. The picture picture is signed on the bottom right. The picture is varnished.
