ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This original abstract landscape painting is titled 'Rainy Day'. It is a moody and spontaneous acrylic painting on a thick, rectangular gallery wrapped canvas. The colors in this original painting are predominately blue, brown, gray, white and black. This painting has depth and texture from paint dripped and applied with a palette knife. It also has texture from the addition of black oil pastel. I've finished the thick edges of the canvas in rich brown, so framing is not necessary. Hanging wire is attached on the back and I have signed, titled and dated it on the reverse. Two coats of glossy varnish applied for protection against dust and UV rays.
