ABOUT THE ARTWORK
No deep thoughts here. If you loved Mary Poppins, then this array of floating umbrellas will surely appeal to you. The upper part of the canvas implies darker clouds to one side and light coming through on the right. The bottom is done in dark colors to mimic the umbrellas up above but with no significant reference to form. Metallics were used to give an underlying sheen. This painting is finished with a gloss varnish for protection as well as maintaining the contemporary theme.
