I have been focusing on different sources of light in my paintings. I recently took a photo of cars in the London rain with an explosion of light coming from cars, street lights, traffic lights, all reflected on the wet roads. The view is from the passenger seat, looking at the queue of traffi...

I am a self taught artist who was born and raised in The Bahamas. I am inspired by everyday things and find beauty in my surroundings. I constantly think of new things to paint when driving or walking around or travelling. I enjoy painting many different subjects including wildlife, pets, seascapes, city and landscapes, flowers and boats. Light fascinates me and I love to show this in my paintings either with sunsets, sunrises, night lights, shadows and other ways that light may present itself in a picture. I currently live in London and I am constantly inspired by the cityscapes, skylines iconic buildings like Big Ben, Tower Bridge, London Eye and all this amazing cites a city like this has to offer. I will be dedicating more of my painting time capturing what I love about London. I enjoy travelling as well as photography; often using photos as a reference when choosing my next subject. Acrylics are my first love but I use different mediums including colour pencils, watercolours and gouache. There are a huge variety of surfaces on which to paint but among my favourites are Khadi 100% recycled cotton rag paper or canvas.
