My "Raku" series incorporates my love of raku pottery, my fascination of Japanese Kanji symbols, and my passion in woodworking. I use acrylic texture that resembles raku pottery; thin pieces of wood to form parts of Kanji symbols; and deeply saturated sap green hue acrylic paint. Each of the three paintings are on 24" x 36" x 1.5" museum gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are painted black so framing is optional. It is wired and ready to hang. I added a photo showing what they could look like if framed hanging on a wall (they are sold unframed).
