VIEW IN MY ROOM
It is a part of the story- telling series, the fictions from the mythology of ‘Ramayana’ are portrayed on the canvas. As the mythology narrates the story of Hanuman (the monkey man) burning down the Lanka, the capital of the mighty ruler, Ravana, the artist portrays the relative legend of Hanuman, who’s invoked as the rescuer from peril. The arrogant Ravana, abused Hanuman tried causing trouble to him. Annoyed by this action, the wrath of the lord Hanuman (reflected by the two blazing squares in the painting) befalls on the city setting it off in fire.
