ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In the distance, we seem to see a man on horseback ... an accident of the painter but which inspires the title of this work. The spontaneity of the gesture leads me most of the time to unusual forms with which I create a story. The diluted acrylic which gives a watercolor effect and which I let settle on the canvas gives me the leisure of the pictorial creation that follows with collages of Japanese papers, strokes of grease pencils and texture with the structural mortar . The work is varnished and painted black on the sides.
