Inspiration for my work comes from many walks along flower- and tulip fields, along the North Sea coast, in polders, heathlands and forests in the Netherlands and rugged mountainous regions in Scandinavia and the Alps. Education: Academy of Arts Sint Joost, Breda Netherlands: 1983-1987 Painting - I graduated cum laude. 1977-1980 Graphic Design Since 1988 I have been working full-time as a professional visual artist in my own studio. My work has been nominated for the St. Joost Medal Art Academy St. Joost Breda Nertherlands and in 2004 for the 'Prize for Painting Boechout 2004' Boechout Belgium. Publications.
