This abstract painting represents joy, love, amazement, wonder, compassion and romance. Rasa Priya series paintings in my perspective depict my emotion and are expressed through colours and lines. This painting’s colour philosophy is based on “Bharata Muni’s Rasas in the Nātyasāstra” and the technique was influenced by Jackson Pollock. The anthology of my “Rasa Priya” painting indicates the philosophy, vision, and passion involved in my artistic creations. They are a series of colours lively in dynamic and emotion that arise in human life. Each one of them involves strong depth with a sense of heavily textured, abstract painting in acrylic on canvas. ‘Rasa’ is sap and sap is colour - the life of painting, which is a strong backdrop in my creations. Colours run methodologically creating a sense of melody and rhythm in my abstract creations. I feel that the deepest ‘Rasa’ achieves the greatest bliss, hence my colours meticulously rendered with utmost depth transform the void to life in my creations. This abstract painting’s aesthetic changes from different angles and catches the eye of the beholder each time with a different narrative.
