About The Artwork

"Ready Mister Music" This piece is a combination of my Abstract Imagination and my love of music. Listening to music only, as I have absolutely NO musical talent at all. While working in my garage / studio, music is always playing. It sort of gets me in the mood to create. This painting is bright and cheery. It brightens up any room that I put it in to take these photos. The musical symbol in the painting is the treble clef, or G clef, it is used for the higher sounding notes, usually played with the right hand. To me, this symbol just means MUSIC. This painting has a textured base which gives it extra character. It looks fabulous in a reflective light. The painting is 91 cm wide and 122 cm high and 4 cm deep. It weighs 3 Kgs. On the back is a signed Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and is finished in a high gloss varnish that enhances the colour and protects the paint

The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character. As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary abstract. He uses various mediums and acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes. Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques. Patrick has had many exhibitions, either solo or combined with other artists. He has won acclaim and awards for his abstract imagination. His work is displayed in galleries on the Central Coast and in private collections. .
