This painting is a study of intense colors of red, yellow and blue. The smothering organic smoke in the corner of the room gives the mood of uneasiness as the intensity of the introspection gives away a sense of tension. It is the intense feeling of being alone we often feel in a cafe, while in the public setting, perhaps even sitting right next to others in the same room, same table. We are isolated in our own self-willed bubble of private sphere, forever distant from those who are almost too close for comfort outside our familiar sphere of domains. We want privacy, yet we suffer loneliness. The modern technology and various electronic tools we carry about us forever altered our human connections with those we encounter.
