This is my newest abstract painting. It's an intense effort with reds as the dominant color. I've been playing around with a single image source and altering it multiple times until it comes to something visually exciting or pleasing. Hopefully the viewer will be affected by it, too. Then it gets cropped and edited so that a large proportionate canvas can be made and the idea rendered in acrylics and oils. This piece is 16" high, 32" wide, and 1" deep and includes the hanging wire on the back. A frame would close it in, so the painting features a 'gallery wrap'.
