ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is part of my series entitled "The Essence of Sleeping" where I observe the sleeping body and its rhythms. Sleeping person is in our eyes without conscious self and social masks. At the same time, sleeping mind is a great secret, where you can only get clues by interpreting the body language. This painting has got its inspiration from the movie "Only Lovers Left Alive" directed by Jim Jarmusch. I've written a poem called Red String as a part of the artwork and the collector will also have the poem.
