This renaissance woman hold back her magnificent chestnut hair and look at you imperiously. She’s proud to be a red head (ranga). She knows that…
*Red hair occurs naturally in up to 2% of the human population,
*Gingers are more likely to be sensitive to cold and hot sensations than people with different hair colors.
*A lot of redheads are also left-handed.
*Red hair does not turn to grey as fast as other hair colors
*Bees are more attracted to redheads than any other hair color.
*Redheads never get lost in a crowd.

Will you value her for her uniqueness?

The lace and satin detailing on neck and sleeve have an iridescent sheen which is, unfortunately, is not easy to photograph, but trust me she shimmers softly, especially in low light. Her rings earrings and cap have been rendered in metallic paints and also give off a low sheen.

Being just over a metre square she is a statement piece and will be comfortable on colored or light walls and will suit either a contemporary or a traditional home. The edges have been finished in black for a modern style finish.

My work is held in both private and corporate collections within Australia and N.Z. and also in N.America, the U.K. and Europe.

Your painting arrives ready to hang and is fitted with D rings and wire. It is signed on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Lesley Taylor, who signs her work pin100 (don't ask her why, she won't tell you) hopes that her sense of humour connects with you and that you enjoy her whimsical and some say 'downright odd' outlook on life as shown in her work. She says... As an actor I've always been interested in the emotions that can be shown without the use of words. My paintings tend to reflect this life long study. As said by Sir Howard Hodgkin: Turner winner “Being well-known or having lots of exhibitions has nothing to do with being an artist - those things are just chance." That being said ... I admit to being reluctant to travel these days, I show my work in regional galleries, local to my home in Macksville on the North Coast of NSW. I am glad to take my work to various online galleries.
