Retrato ella by Enrique Pichardo is a 122x152 cm piece, created with acrylic on canvas. This abstract portrait features a multicolored background that acts as a vibrant backdrop, while the colors red, yellow, orange, green, black and white stand out as complementary elements. The multicolored background envelops the work, creating an atmosphere of energy and diversity. Red, yellow, orange, orange, green, black and white colors intertwine in the abstract figure, outlining shapes and contours that suggest movement and vitality. Each shade of color adds expressiveness and dynamism to the portrait, bringing layers of meaning and emotion to the work. Red and yellow illuminate the highlights, while green and black provide contrasts and shadows that add depth and volume to the image. Orange brings a touch of warmth, while white adds breaths of light, infusing the composition with a sense of vitality and passion. Together, these colors work in harmony to create an abstract portrait that captivates the viewer, inviting them to explore the emotional and symbolic nuances of the work. "Portrait Her" is a fascinating exploration of the interplay between color and form, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in a world of artistic expression and contemplation.

The Mexican plastic artist, Enrique Pichardo, has more than 30 years of experience as a painter. His technique and style combine artistic influences from other countries with the traditional Mexican influence. In his own words, he defines his art as naive expressionism. The plastic work of Enrique Pichardo has more than one aspect. On the one hand, he creates works that are densely populated with shapes, figures, and colors. On the other hand, he has abstracted urban landscapes with a neutral color palette that recreates everyday situations. However, the special characteristic that maintains the cohesion of all his pieces is the conviction of approaching art through a return to his childhood and his first traces. Paint like a child, paint with more expression than technique, paint with feeling over technique. The painter seeks the skillful strokes of his inner child to carry out each of his pieces.
