Portrait in Yellow by Enrique Pichardo, exhibited on a 70 x 70 cm canvas in acrylic on canvas, is a work that radiates vitality and expression. This abstract portrait, with a vibrant yellow background, becomes the perfect canvas for the harmonious dance of white, red and green. Yellow, in its warm and radiant tonality, establishes an atmosphere full of energy and optimism. Enrique Pichardo uses white strategically to highlight specific areas, creating visual contrasts that add depth and dynamism to the composition. Red, with its bold presence, adds a note of passion and emotion to the portrait, capturing the viewer's attention. Green, with its refreshing tone, brings balance and harmony to the chromatic palette, creating a visual interaction that invites contemplation. Measuring 70 x 70 cm, the canvas provides generous space for the central figure to develop with detail and expressiveness. The careful arrangement of colors guides the viewer's eye through the work, revealing layers of meaning and emotion. "Portrait in Yellow" is not only an abstract artistic manifestation, but a visual experience that invites you to explore the unique connection between the colors selected by Enrique Pichardo. The masterful combination of colors and expert arrangement create a work that goes beyond the surface to evoke emotions and reflections.

The Mexican plastic artist, Enrique Pichardo, has more than 30 years of experience as a painter. His technique and style combine artistic influences from other countries with the traditional Mexican influence. In his own words, he defines his art as naive expressionism. The plastic work of Enrique Pichardo has more than one aspect. On the one hand, he creates works that are densely populated with shapes, figures, and colors. On the other hand, he has abstracted urban landscapes with a neutral color palette that recreates everyday situations. However, the special characteristic that maintains the cohesion of all his pieces is the conviction of approaching art through a return to his childhood and his first traces. Paint like a child, paint with more expression than technique, paint with feeling over technique. The painter seeks the skillful strokes of his inner child to carry out each of his pieces.
