About The Artwork
The Water ans Air series grew straight from the "Garden of Eden" and "Reflections" series. They evolved from Water Lilies and became, as it were, an independent entity. They develop into the colors of paradise, joyful, beautiful, blending with each other. Pure, beautiful darkness, illuminated by dynamic flecks of color. The color-lit areas are alive with twisting shoots. A world where reflections in water create illusions, where vegetation begins, where the sky is and where the water is. It is a world where light is constantly weaving color, changing, flickering and unstable. Where fairies giggle and do their mischief. "The River of Dreams" is in slightly different in size. The horizontal format broke the thinking pattern. Translucent shapes, like crystals, hang in a magical, colorful space. Hence the title, because for me, this painting is like a river journey, full of wonderful surprises.

I am a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. My work is "bipolar": figurative and abstract. Both ways complement each other and inspire. Although seemingly they seem to be completely separate, they "nourish" my work, not letting myself burn out. Their common part is color and a reference to dreams, in which nothing is impossible, and parallel worlds permeate. My art is my way to enjoy the world, its beauty and share it with people. In my abstract works, I consider each painting as a separate world, a separate reality that I discover and explore. I like to use forms and shapes associated with nature. Forms similar to leaves, boats, stones, scales. Contours of known reality in an unknown world. I observe their interactions among forms and colors.
