‘Rocket Ships’ is a bold, colorful, and playful abstract artwork that captures the excitement and wonder of space exploration. The painting features a vibrant and dynamic composition, with large gestural movements that suggest the speed and momentum of rockets. The use of bold and bright colours, such as blue and yellow, creates a sense of energy and vitality, with shapes and patterns emerging and disappearing in a playful and dynamic dance. The composition of the painting is abstract, with no clear delineation between foreground and background. The viewer is invited to lose themselves in the painting. Comes framed in raw tasmanian oak.

Ethan is a *rising artist from the Northern Beaches, Sydney. So naturally he was always going to be a lover of the ocean and outdoors, he has always strived to break away from the traditional 9-5 lifestyle, working as a male model in the fashion industry his adult life. He's been fortunate to travel and live overseas, but coming back home in awe, seeking inspiration from his natural surroundings. Ethan's artwork reflects his passion for Australian themes and its beauty. His work primarily falls within the abstract art realm with gestural abstraction being at the forefront of his creative style. Despite being colourblind his use of bold colours and intriguing textures creates a sense of movement and energy in his pieces that is uniquely captivating. After being selected for ArtExpress, he was on top of the world. So he decided to take a break from art to celebrate his own greatness. But as the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months, he realised that maybe he wasn't quite the prodigy. But now he’s back and ready to take on the art world (once he figures out how to hold a paintbrush again). p.s I hate talking about myself in third person *according to mum
