Art Description

Painting: Oil, Charcoal, Acrylic on Canvas.

As seen in The World of Interiors UK March 2017 issue.

'Roil Redux' is part of a series of works inspired by the Masters and the stylistic period of Romanticism.

This work references the painting ‘The Death of Sardanapalus’ by Eugene Delacroix, which is based on the tale of the last king of Assyria and his emotional power. The original painting was used as a source to inform the new work.
