ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by rose bouquets received and photographed in floral shops. The passionate colours and brushwork gestures made me think of the Tango dance. Painted on Arches, 140 lb water colour paper. If paper could be considered “sexy”….this is definitely one of them. There is a 2” border around the painted image. Clear gesso on both sides add to the texture. Satin varnished.
